We are by a small but passionate team of individuals within Kirklees Council who had the vision to create this new and innovative approach to recruitment within the Care Sector. We could see the barriers people faced in trying to get into the sector despite the high vacancy levels and we wanted to make a difference. We wanted to support people by understanding and appreciating their needs and helping them find jobs efficiently and effectively
Since April 2017 we have supported over 1500 local people to get roles in the local care sector and in November 2019 we were honoured to win a Guardian Public Service Award for HR and Recruitment which recognised the outstanding achievements we have made.
